Anytime I pass those pretzel or cinnamon bun shops in the mall, I’m immediately lured in by their sweet, cinnamon-y aroma. Sadly, my wallet isn’t too fond of this habit, so I’ve found a way to satisfy that sweet tooth with this pull-apart dessert. It’s great snack food for parties, too — just grab a piece and go!
Utensils required: gallon-size resealable bag, bundt pan (or any deep-dish, oven-safe pan will do), sauce pan, oven/stovetop, oven mitts, knife, spoon
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- one stick of butter
- 4 cans of 10-count refrigerated biscuit dough (in cans; the cheapest kind you can buy works just fine)
- Pam/cooking spray
Time commitment: 10-15 minutes to prepare, 35 to bake
Steps (serves 10-12 … or more):
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees, and spray the bottom and sides of the bundt pan with cooking spray (or lightly grease it with butter).
2. Open each package of biscuits, separating them. Cut each biscuit into fourths.
3. Now, pour the cup of sugar (not brown sugar) and the 2 tablespoons of cinnamon into the resealable bag. Seal it and shake it, so the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
4. Next, toss a couple of dough balls into the bag and mix them around in the cinnamon and sugar. Once they’re fully coated, take them out and put them in the bundt pan. Continue layering the pieces until you’ve run out of dough.
5. Take out a saucepan and cook the stick of butter and cup of brown sugar over medium heat, stirring continuously until the grains disappear into a smooth sauce.
6. Pour the sauce over the dough. Then, cook it in the oven for 35 minutes.

I’ve got my first attempt of this in the oven right now, and I gotta tell you that my entire apartment smells absolutely amazing! Thanks Collegiate Cook!
Everyone who tries this desert always begs for the recipe. I’ll definitely keep the ingredients on hand this holiday season for impromptu guests who drop by. It’s so easy and makes the whole house smell like Christmas!
Wow! This is beyond words! I’ll have to make this IMMEDIATELY.

Omg, this sounds absolutely amazing, and apparently(more like obviously) smells delicious. This upcoming week I’m in charge of preparing dinner at my aparment complex and to be fairly honest I’m not the greatest cook to be in a kitchen. But this seems easy enough and it just looks so scrumpches:]
Anyway, I’m happy and feel lucky I found this website to aid me in my quest to prepare meals on my own:]
So thank you for the info and recipes your helping me out big time.
…..I know it might seem I’m being a little dramatic about being an aweful cook but honestly, I am seriously the worst. But these easy steps help:]
I’ll be sure to take pictures about the entire experience:]
